A Clearer Workspace From Sign-In to Insights
Arivu now pairs its white-rail interface with stronger contrast, calmer Library controls, clearer Graph targets, and useful next steps.
Arivu’s interface now gives your material more room while making the next action easier to find.
The workspace uses a white field with fine dashed rails, quiet sand panels, compact serif titles, and coral actions. This is a refinement of the light-only system introduced in July, not a new product structure. Home, Library, Notes, Graph, and Insights remain the primary destinations. Capture and Search / Ask remain available across the app.
The update also tightens the parts of the interface that carry more weight than decoration: contrast, filters, empty states, and targets you need to select.
A clearer first step
The sign-in screen now explains what waits behind it. Arivu is a private, self-hosted second brain where you can capture material, connect it on your terms, and keep a portable SQLite-backed library. The form stays focused, while the supporting panel sets the product context without licensed artwork or a decorative mockup.
Primary actions now use a darker coral with white labels. Placeholder text is darker too. Hover, active, disabled, and focus states remain distinct without lowering text contrast or depending on opacity alone.
Less chrome around your library
Library keeps search, type, stage, and sort in view. Topic, source, date, connection state, and density now sit under More filters. Active filters remain clear and easy to remove.
Collections no longer occupy an empty panel before you have any. Once collections exist, the control remains available as a compact disclosure. Saved and authored material still opens first, while generated concepts and entities keep their separate view.
Larger targets, useful next steps
Graph labels now allow more text, and each node has a larger pointer target. The bounded graph, inspector, zoom controls, and accessible node list work as before. The change makes the visual view easier to scan and operate without turning it into an unbounded map.
Insights empty states now help you move forward. A new workspace points to Capture and Library. Material that needs processing points to import settings. Arivu still waits for qualifying evidence before it claims that a pattern exists, but waiting no longer means reaching a dead end.
What stayed compatible
Routes, navigation, menus, saved data, imports, exports, browser capture, extension behavior, the CLI, and administration remain in place. The release also strengthens how saves and search rebuilds hold together under failure, without changing the steps you use each day.
The result is not more interface. It is a clearer path through the interface Arivu already had.
