Each view answers a different question. Capture and Search / Ask remain global, so collecting or finding knowledge never depends on where you are.

Home: Open recent sources, notes, and material worth revisiting. No task queue.
Library: What have I kept? Browse saved and authored material by default, then switch to generated concepts and entities when you want the derived view.
Notes: Write in your own words. Link a thought or saved answer back to the sources that informed it.
Search: Find saved text locally, or open Ask to preview passages for a conversation. Review and Graph stay under More.

Full-text search works locally. Source chat uses your configured AI provider after consent. Exact quoted citations let you inspect the evidence; they do not prove every AI claim.

Preserve and share with explicit boundaries.

Direct capture records attempts, source evidence, and a bounded source response. Complete background capture can add rendered reader content, local images, screenshots, PDFs, and offline HTML without exposing a browser profile.

Strongest safe reader

Direct evidence stays useful immediately, while rendered evidence can improve weak extraction without letting a failed or challenged page replace the last good copy.

Deliberate snapshots

Publish a point-in-time secret-link copy without private notes, tags, annotations, or graph connections. Authenticated APIs can include selected screenshot or PDF evidence.

Complete host backups

Installer backups pair the SQLite snapshot with the adjacent asset store and a manifest that restore verifies.

A capable workspace without a complicated stack.

The core app is a single Go binary with SQLite. Use the guided Linux VPS installer to manage it and, on supported hosts, the isolated native capture runtime. Back up the database and adjacent assets together, and add a model provider only if its enrichment is useful to you.

Multiple capture paths: Use the web app, browser extension, share target, imports, or CLI.
Less planning, more reading: Tasks, reminders, Board, Focus, typed objects, and standalone Insights are retired. Existing writing becomes notes; full backups keep exact legacy records.
Import and export: Move bookmarks and notes through common formats, and keep regular backups.
Provider choice: Configure supported hosted or compatible providers at runtime, or use Arivu without one.
