Keyboard Shortcuts

Use Arivu's verified command-palette, Inbox-triage, graph, menu, tab, and dialog keyboard controls.

Arivu relies on familiar browser controls and a discoverable set of application shortcuts. Press ? outside a form field to open the complete in-app guide. Single-key commands stay disabled while you type in a form or use a dialog.

Global

Keys Action
Cmd/Ctrl + K Open the command palette for navigation, Capture, Search / Ask, and contextual actions
Q Open Capture
/ or F Focus Search
Cmd/Ctrl + P Print the current view
? Open the shortcut guide
Escape Close the active dialog, menu, or annotation composer and restore focus where applicable
Tab / Shift + Tab Move through interactive controls and trapped dialog focus

Persistent Capture, Search, and More actions show compact key hints on larger screens. Mobile keeps the controls visually restrained.

Library Navigation

In Library and bookmark result grids, when focus is not inside a form field:

Key Action
Arrow Up / Arrow Down Move through visible items
Enter Open the focused item

Inbox Triage

When focus is inside an Inbox item card and not in a form field:

Key Action
P Move the item to Working
D Mark the item Kept
A Archive the item

Inbox is a filtered Library context. These keys are ignored while typing in an input, textarea, or select.

  • Arrow Up and Arrow Down move through open menu items.
  • Arrow Left, Arrow Right, Home, and End move through tab lists.
  • Enter or Space selects a focused Graph node.
  • The Accessible node list provides equivalent graph selection without using the SVG.

Browser zoom and pinch zoom remain available. Graph also provides visible Zoom out, Reset view, and Zoom in controls. Arivu preserves ordinary browser find and page-navigation behavior; its print shortcut deliberately opens the browser print flow.
