Arivu 1.8.0
A new look for the whole app, a fix for the public share page, and updated dependencies and security fixes.
Arivu 1.8.0 is out. The headline is a new look across the whole app. The rest is a fix and some upkeep.
What’s in it
- A new look. Warmer paper surfaces, softer cards, serif headings, charcoal buttons with coral accents, and a split sign-in screen. Where things are and how they work has not changed. Read A new look for Arivu.
- A fixed share page. The public page for a shared snapshot showed an “unavailable” message instead of the shared content. It now displays correctly.
- Updated toolchain and libraries. Arivu now builds on a newer Go release, and the networking and crypto libraries and the capture runtime’s libraries are updated. This includes fixes reported by our release security scan.
Before you upgrade
Nothing in your data changes, so there is no new backup format and no one-time conversion. A fresh backup before any upgrade is still a good habit. Your browser will fetch the new styles on your first visit.
